(San-Kinn) New hot spring-themed promotion kicks off! Enjoy the flavors of Taiwan's hot spring areas

One of the most popular experiences in Taiwan is bathing in hot springs! To celebrate the grand openings of the 6th and 7th stores, the San-Kinn team has created a new hot spring-themed promotion, offering delicious new soup bases, authentic themed dishes and exciting events, allowing customers to savor rich hotpot while enjoying the flavors of Taiwan's hot spring areas.

The soul of hotpot lies in its broth. During the themed promotion, the two new stores will feature exclusive new soup bases: the precious "Buddha Jumps Over the Wall" soup at Tseung Kwan O and the mushroom lovers’ favorite "Morel Mushroom Eight Treasures" soup at Sha Tin. Both soups are inspired by Taiwan's famous hot spring culture, providing a unique dining experience reminiscent of a soothing hot spring atmosphere. It's highly recommended to taste a bowl of broth before diving into the hotpot feast.

  • Buddha Jumps Over the Wall Soup: This luxurious broth combines various precious seafood and meats, including abalone, sea cucumber and chicken, along with unique herbs and ingredients like goji berries, red dates, winter melon and chestnuts, providing a comforting and nourishing experience like bathing in hot spring.
  • Morel Mushroom Eight Treasures Soup: Featuring morel mushrooms, this broth is simmered with seven types of rare mushrooms (deer antler mushrooms, golden mushrooms, cordyceps flowers, king oyster mushrooms, seafood mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms and abalone mushrooms), creating a sweet, fragrant broth that embodies the freshness of nature found in hot springs.

Taiwan's hot springs are often located in mountainous areas, and the cuisine typically features wild vegetables, free-range chicken and duck, and local river seafood. San-Kinn stands out among hotpot restaurants with its extensive menu of Taiwanese hot dishes. During the hot spring-themed promotion, San-Kinn will offer a variety of themed dishes at all locations, allowing guests to enjoy hotpot while experiencing local Taiwanese flavors. Highlighted dishes include: Salt-Baked Hot Spring Eggs, Traditional Roasted Chicken, Jinshan Duck, Mala Grilled Fish, Traditional Fried Noodle.

Regarding Taiwanese drinks, San-Kinn team has introduced a series of specialty drinks featuring purple sweet potato: Purple Sweet Potato Red Bean Oolong Milk Tea, Taro Paste and Purple Sweet Potato Latte with Ice Cream, Purple Sweet Potato Brown Sugar Bubble Milk.

San-Kinn has prepared some delightful surprises. First of all, the San-Kinn mascot has officially debuted! The mascot features two Formosan black bears: the female is named SanSan, and the male is named Kinn. They will meet everyone in various forms in the coming future. If you want to know more about their story, please stay tuned to San-Kinn's social media platforms.

As for bathing in the hot springs, you definitely need a towel. Customers dining in will receive a towel shaped like a cute bear when they order the designated soup bases (Buddha Jumps Over the Wall at Tseung Kwan O, Morel Mushroom Eight Treasures at Sha Tin, Beauty Soup or Herbal Chicken Soup at other locations), while supplies last. The towels come in five colors and will be distributed randomly.

Finally, one of San-Kinn’s most beloved experiences is its postcards. Since the opening of the first branch, over ten versions have been released. Accompanying the themed promotion, the design team has created a special edition postcard on hot spring theme for customers to keep as a memorable souvenir.

Hot Spring theme promotion period: 30-Nov-2024 to 28-Feb-2025
