Terms and Conditions of Taste Gourmet Group (TGG) Membership Program

Taste Gourmet Group-TGG Membership Program is operated by Taste Gourmet Group Limited. TGG Card is issued by Taste Gourmet Group. The submission of an application for membership to Taste Gourmet Group is deemed to be an acceptance of these terms and conditions that are subject to amendments as shall be made by Taste Gourmet Group without notice from time to time.

Application & Membership

1. Application for membership shall be submitted through TGG Mobile APP with a valid email address and telephone number. Each valid telephone number and email address can register once only.
2. The applicant must be aged 13 or over.
3. Applicants must complete all mandatory fields in full and provide true and accurate information. Taste Gourmet Group will not process any incomplete or inaccurate application and reserves the right to decline any application at its sole discretion without giving any reason therefor.
4. Member can login to Member’s Area via TGG Mobile APP to check the expiry date of the membership.
5. Member has no right to participate in the constitution, operation or management of the Taste Gourmet Group Membership Program nor any right in or any claim to any assets of Taste Gourmet Group.

TGG Card

1. A virtual TGG Card will be issued to a member upon successful application.
2. Taste Gourmet Group Limited is not liable for any loss or damages suffered by member arising from the loss, theft or use of his/her TGG Card number or password whatsoever.
3. *Electronic payment/spending (dine-in, takeaway purchase and online takeaway ordering at TGG) at any of our restaurants in Hong Kong ONLY will be counted towards the cumulative spending amount, spending on third-party takeaway platform will not be counted. Please refer to Appendix I for list of our restaurants in Hong Kong.  The List will be updated without prior notifications.
4. The cumulative spending amount is the actual amount settled by way of electronic payment, such amount shall include the 10% service charge and all other promotional offers and discounts where applicable.
5. The cumulative spending amount will be transferred into TGG Point as set out in the TGG Point section below. *Spending for banquet or events and deposit payment is not eligible for TGG Points accumulation.
6. TGG Card must be presented upon payment to record the transaction, and the entire transaction can be recorded on one TGG Card only.
7. Spending recorded in different TGG Cards cannot be combined.
8. Record of cumulative spending in a TGG Card will be updated next working day after the transaction. Members can check their cumulative spending record via TGG Mobile APP under ‘my account’. TGG record is final and conclusive.
9. If there is any suspicious or irregular activity or transaction relating to member’s TGG Card account, please immediately contact Taste Gourmet Customer Service Hotline at 3611 2059 (Monday to Friday: 9am – 6pm).
10. TGG Card is not transferable or assignable and is for member’s personal use and benefit only. Verification of member’s identity may be required.

Personal information

1. Members shall keep their membership numbers and passwords strictly confidential and secure. Members are fully responsible for any use of their accounts by any other person (including any third parties, whether used with or without the member’s authorization).
2. All personal information collected under the TGG Membership Program shall be managed in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and the Privacy Policy Statement of Taste Gourmet Group.
3. Member is responsible for keeping Taste Gourmet Group updated on their correct mobile phone number and email address. Taste Gourmet Group is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of member’s failure to notify Taste Gourmet Group of any change of mobile phone number and email address.
4. Any request to amend personal information can be made in writing to Taste Gourmet Group’s Data Privacy Officer through any one of the following methods:
- Send an email to members@tastegourmet.com.hk content must include the member’s name, registered mobile number, email address and contact number).
- Call us on (852) 3611 2059 (Office hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, except public holidays).

Termination of Membership

1. Except otherwise expressly specified, TGG membership is valid for one year only from the day of successful registration or upgrading as the case may be.
2. A member may by sending a written request to Taste Gourmet Group to terminate his/her membership.  Upon receipt of the said written request, the membership shall be terminated as soon as reasonably practicable and all unredeemed TGG Points shall be forfeited without further notice.
3. All relevant information (which may include personal data) will be retained for nine (9) months following the termination of membership.


1. In the event of any breach of the Terms and Conditions of Taste Gourmet Group Membership Program, or the use of the TGG Card is unauthorized or arises from act of misconduct, fraudulent or otherwise unlawful, Taste Gourmet Group has the right to stop one’s participation in the Taste Gourmet Group Membership Program and/or immediately terminate one’s TGG membership or his/her application with or without notice. Taste Gourmet Group will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting therefrom and also has the right to take action for recovery of any loss suffered by Taste Gourmet Group as a result of the breach of the Terms and Conditions of Taste Gourmet Group Membership Program.
2. TGG will not bear any responsibility in any case of network problems, system malfunctioning, poor phone reception or blocking by third party applications that cause the delay, loss, mistake or corruption of an information transfer.
3. Taste Gourmet Group reserves the right to terminate TGG Membership Program and/or its operation at its sole discretion at any time with reasonable notice, where reasonably practicable, without giving any reason therefor. All rights and/or privileges of an applicant/member shall cease upon termination of the Program and Taste Gourmet Group will not be liable for any loss or damages resulting therefrom.
4. Not every member will be eligible to participate in all promotions and Taste Gourmet Group may from time to time impose other limitations on member’s participation in any promotion. Member taking part in any promotion shall be deemed to have agreed to be bound by the applicable terms and conditions which may be imposed by Taste Gourmet Group in relation to such promotion.
5. In the event of any dispute arising from TGG Point, TGG Card or TGG Membership Program, Taste Gourmet Group shall be the sole and final arbiter of such dispute and its decision shall be final and binding on an applicant and/or member.
6. Taste Gourmet Group reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of TGG Membership Program or revoke any right and/ or privilege without prior notice. All changes or amendments are effective once announced on the Taste Gourmet Group website or TGG Mobile APP.  Member’s continued use of TGG Card indicates the acceptance of any change to the Terms and Conditions of TGG Membership Program. In case of any dispute, decision of Taste Gourmet Group shall be final.
7. Taste Gourmet Group Mobile APP and virtual TGG Card are only applicable to designated mobile devices using iOS 10.3 or above and Android 6.0 or above (major models and brands).
8. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English version and Chinese version of the Terms and Conditions of TGG Membership Program, the English version shall prevail.

B. TGG Mobile App may contain links to other third party websites and by clicking on these links, members agree to do so at their own risk. Taste Gourmet Group and TGG Mobile App, do not control or endorse these third party websites or links and shall not be responsible for the content of these linked pages. Taste Gourmet Group and TGG Mobile App, accept no liability or responsibility for any loss or damage, which may be suffered by any person in relation to their access and use of these third party links and websites.

TGG Membership Features (Tier and point)
1. TGG Points:

During the validity period of the TGG Membership (i.e. one year from the date of successful registration/upgrading), TGG Point (“point”) will be credited for every $20 Hong Kong dollar spent (based on the total actual amount settled by way of electronic payment). Any amount below $20 Hong Kong dollar will not be credited as TGG Point. TGG point conversion for different membership tiers as set out below. TGG points can be converted and used in block of 40 points in the subsequent transaction at Hong Kong Taste Gourmet Group outlets. Point used will be deducted from the TGG Card account instantly at the transaction. Offer is valid for dine-in, takeaway and online takeaway purchase (not including third-party takeaway platform). Unused point will be forfeited upon expiry of membership.
Upper limit for TGG point registration per member account per transaction day is HK$20,000 maximum. Only a maximum of 3 transactions can be registered/accumulated per member account per transaction day. This applies to promotional offers of all kinds, including but not limited to welcome offers, birthday offers, referral point rewards (if applicable), etc. Taste Gourmet Group shall have the right to cancel or deduct bonus points that are granted to any members by error without prior notice.
All reward points, cash vouchers, rewards, discount vouchers and promotional codes in TGG APP are governed by specific terms and conditions. They are neither refundable nor redeemable for cash. TGG Point cannot be sold, bought, transferred or moved to other accounts.

2. TGG Silver Member

i. Applicant shall become a TGG Silver Member upon successful registration.
ii. As a Silver Member every $20 HKD spend will be converted to 1 TGG Dollar.
iii. A Silver Member with accumulated spending exceeds HK$8,000 during the validity of membership will be upgraded to TGG Gold Membership.

3. TGG Gold Member  

i .As a Gold Member every $20 HKD spend will be converted to 2 TGG Dollar.
ii. To maintain Gold Membership, the member is required to accumulate spending of no less than HK$8,000 during the validity of membership.
iii. A Gold Member with accumulated spending exceeds HK$40,000 during the validity of membership will be upgraded to TGG Black Membership.
iv. Spending on day of upgrading will be accumulated as Silver tier.
v. A Gold member will be re-designated as a Silver Member if the accumulated spending during the validity of Gold membership is less than HK$8,000.
vi. Existing Taste Gourmet Group VIP card holder may register as a TGG Gold Member.

4. TGG Black Member

i. As a Black member every $20 HKD spend will be converted to 3 TGG Dollar.

ii. To maintain Black Membership, the member is required to accumulate spending of no less than HK$40,000 during the validity of membership.

 Spending on day of upgrading will be accumulated as Gold tier.

iv. A Black member will be re-designated as a Gold Member if the accumulated spending during the validity of Black membership is less than HK$40,000.  

TGG Membership Privileges

1) Birthday Delights:
TGG members may enjoy a one-time special birthday surprises with at least a meal order at one of the Taste Gourmet Group outlets in Hong Kong during his/her birthday month (e.g. If the member's birthday is on 15 August, birthday month covers the period from 1-31 August.) by presenting his/her TGG Card and coupon QR code. Members will receive a push birthday delight coupon at ‘My privilege’ on the first day of their birthday month. Members can then select one of the delights offered.
Offer is valid upon availability and while stock last.
Please present valid TGG virtual membership card and QR code at the time of payment. This offer is only valid at Taste Gourmet Group outlets in Hong Kong. Only applicable for dine-in or self pick-up takeaway (not including third-party takeaway platform). Additional 10% service charge applies where applicable. Points can be used together with this birthday offer. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other Taste Gourmet Group coupons, e-coupons, cash coupons, other promotional offers or discount. Birthday delight redemption must be with at least a meal order at one of the Taste Gourmet Group outlets in Hong Kong for dine-in or takeaway excluding orders from third party platforms.

· For all orders, please specify pick-up date & time upon check out

· Full payment is required to confirm the order

· Any orders placed after 6 pm will be processed the following day

· To reschedule any confirmed order, please inform us (by Email or contact the restaurant directly) at least 2 days before pick up

Food Self Pick-up Service

1. At Taste Gourmet Group, we pride ourselves in providing food that’s served fresh from our kitchens. All food and beverage ordering is for takeaway pick-up only, delivery is not included and not applicable to dine-in.

· Should you wish to order catering sets, festive products or a la carte, please select your collection date and time separately for each category upon checking out.

· Whilst Taste Gourmet restaurants will use our best efforts to ensure that your order submitted through the TGG APP is correctly and satisfactorily fulfilled, Taste Gourmet reserves the right to decline to fulfil an order in whole or in part due to unavailability or any unforeseen change of the products, or in the event of bad weather, traffic and/or any conditions beyond the reasonable control of Taste Gourmet.

· Taste Gourmet and its restaurants are not obligated to provide ingredient information or allergen information on the App. You may specify allergies in the ‘remark’ section upon checking out or contact us before placing an order on our App for any allergic reactions or dietary restrictions and other requirements.

· Members have the right to a refund for a cancelled order only if the TGG or its restaurants has not yet accepted the order. Should members cancel an order after it has been accepted by the TGG or its restaurants, no refunds (whether in whole or in part) will be issued and no Goods in the cancelled order will be tendered to the members. For the avoidance of doubt, partial cancellation is not accepted.

· No minimum spend is required for self-pick up order from selected Taste Gourmet outlets.

2. When an order has been placed successfully, members will receive pick-up notification email indicating the time for Pick-Up (“Pick-up Time”). Our restaurant will prepare the order by the Pick-up Time. In some cases, a reasonable delay may be expected. The Pick-up Time is not guaranteed by either Taste Gourmet or its restaurants.

3. Members must arrive at the pick-up location to collect your Goods according to the Pick-up Time.  TGG and its restaurants shall not be obliged to provide the order if members fail to Pick-Up the order within a reasonable period of time. No refund, exchange of Goods or any other form of products or services shall be provided if members fail to pick up the order as aforesaid.

4. In the event of unreasonable delays in Pick-Up for reasons attributable to Members, member bears the risk of any damage or loss of Goods or any deterioration in quality or change in condition of the Goods (e.g. changes in the temperature fit for consumption). Furthermore, no refund or replacement of the Goods shall be made. 

5. All members using Food Self Pick-up Service must reach 13 years of age. Members below the age of 13 must obtain consent from parent(s) or legal guardian(s), who by accepting these Terms shall agree to take responsibility for your actions and any charges associated with your use of the App and/or purchase of Goods.

6. To use the App, you will need to provide your personal information including a valid name, email address, a mobile phone number and a payment method details. To place an order, depending on which payment method you opt for, you may need to provide us with your credit card details. You agree and accept to place orders under your sole responsibility.

7. Taste Gourmet and its restaurants will not bear any responsibility in any case of network problems, system malfunctioning, poor phone reception, blocking by third party applications, incomplete/ inaccurate/ missing information provided by customers that cause the delay, loss, mistake or corruption of an information transfer, which caused failure of completion of order/transaction, failure of delivery of confirmation email for pick-up verification or other issues of order/transaction.  

8. To complete an order, please follow the onscreen instructions after clicking ‘Checkout’. Members are required to review and confirm that all the information provided, including the amounts, pick-up details, personal details, payment information, and promotion codes (if applicable) is true, accurate and complete before you click “Confirm and Pay”. 

9. Pick up time that is generally from 12:00pm to 9:00 pm, and it will be adjusted according to the operating conditions of different restaurant.

10. Prices quoted on TGG App shall be displayed in the Hong Kong Dollar. Prices and offers on the App may vary. A breakdown of the prices, discount or promotion offer and additional charges are displayed during Checkout. Confirmation of order information and payment means members accept all amounts, additional charges and the final ‘Total’ amount which is displayed upon order placement. 

11. Members should enter and use the promotion code to enjoy the discount or offer before confirm and pay the order. Except otherwise specified, no retrospective arrangement can be made.

12. Once the order is confirmed, no modifications, cancellation, refund, exchange, exchange for cash shall be made and it is not transferable.

13. Once you have pushed the button to submit order, it means you consent that your information (including but not limited to title, first name and last name and mobile phone number) will be transferred and provided to TGG and its restaurants for the purpose of handling order. Member’s information will be kept by TGG for a reasonable period of time.

14. Limited quota applies on all the Goods supplies, while stock lasts.

15. All orders placed on this App must be paid in advance through the system payment gateway. No other payment method will be accepted. Cash or credit card payment made upon collection at pick-up location will not be accepted.

16. All purchase and transaction on this App is not eligible for any promotion, rewards, redemption activities of malls, including bonus point registration of gift (except for free parking offer redemption and other offers specified).

17. Members who complete the transaction are to be rewarded 1 TGG dollar for every HK$20 spent. The bonus points will be credited to TGG account of the member automatically next working day once the transaction is confirmed. The registration and use of TGG points and dollars are subject to others terms and conditions in “TGG Points”. If there is any inconsistency, the terms and conditions in “Food Self Pick-up Service” shall prevail.

18. Upon successful bonus point registration under Food Self Pick-up Service, the corresponding machine-printed receipt and electronic payment slip cannot be used for TGG point registration again via whatever means including but not limited to Food Self Pick-up Service, “Uploading of receipts through TGG App”.

19. Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Unionpay, Applepay, Alipay and WeChat pay are accepted for payment on the App. Taste Gourmet Group reserves the right to offer additional payment methods and/or remove existing payment methods at any time in its sole discretion. All payment shall be processed by third party payment service provider(s). Members agree that respective credit card / payment information will be stored with third party payment service provider(s) upon confirmation of order information and payment. 

20. Members must ensure that sufficient fund on credit card or any related wallet to fulfil payment of an order. Taste Gourmet and its restaurants will not bear any responsibility in any case of failure of order placement caused by insufficient fund or whatsoever related to the payment transaction.

21. TGG and/or its restaurants may reject the order (in whole or in part) according to their operation conditions and refund will be made accordingly. The duration of receiving refund depends on the practice of issuing banks of the credit cards/service providers. However, no liabilities or compensation shall be made for any issues, loss, charges incurred due to rejection of the order. The TGG points earned from the order will be deducted via system from TGG account of the member within 30 days from the day of order cancellation. 

22. An order confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided upon payment successfully settled and the order request will be also sent to the restaurant. Members can also view their order details in “My Records” in the “Member’s Area” page in the App. You will receive an order ready for pick up email upon restaurants’ acceptance of your order request, which an order number will be attached in the email and please present this order number accordingly at the specified pick-up time and location. In case that the order is rejected by the restaurant, members will receive an email for cancellation. Please contact the restaurant directly for order enquiries. Members shall be responsible for the accuracy of the email address. 

23. A unique order number will be sent for each transaction and can be used once for the Goods collection. Order number will be void upon collection of the Goods. Please keep this order number in safe and do not share with others. Invalid/ void order number will not be accepted. No replacement, exchange or refunded will be made for invalid / void order number.

24. Members are responsible for inspecting the Goods/order when Pick-Up and shall report any issues and/or defects to the restaurant before leaving the premises of pick-up location.

25. All Goods are non-refundable, non-transferrable, not for sale, non-exchangeable for cash, cash coupon, gift certificate, coupon, products or services.

26. From time to time, TGG App and its restaurants may run marketing and promotional campaigns which offer promotion codes, discounts, and other promotional offers to be used on the App. These offers are subject to validity periods, redemption periods, and in certain cases, may only be used once.

27. Offers may not be valid when used in conjunction with other promotions, discounts or other vouchers. Additional terms and conditions may apply to Offers. Unless otherwise stated, Offers can only be used on this App. Offers cannot be exchanged for cash or for sale as well.

28. Taste Gourmet Group and its restaurants reserve the right to void, discontinue or reject the use of any promotion offer without prior notice.

29. The right of pick-up or usage of the Goods, services or offer will be become invalid upon suspension or termination of operation of the restaurant.

30. While Taste Gourmet Group makes reasonable efforts to ensure the provision of the App are updated, but do not warrant or represent that the App shall be provided in a manner which is secure, timely, uninterrupted, error-free, free of technical difficulties, defects or viruses.

31. Members acknowledge and agree that use of or reliance upon the App and any content, goods, products or services accessed or obtained thereby is at sole risk and discretion. 

32. Please expect temporary interruptions and suspension of the App due to scheduled or regular/ ad hoc system maintenance work, downtimes attributable to internet or electronic communications or events of force majeure. Taste Gourmet Group and its restaurants will not bear any responsibilities. 

33. Taste Gourmet Group reserve the right to cancel any order and/or suspend, deactivate or terminate any members’ use in its sole discretion if it reasonably suspects or detects fraudulent behavior or activity associated with the order. 

34. All photos and description on this App are for reference only.

35. Pick-up shall be rescheduled or rearranged upon Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning hoisted subject to the decision made by the restaurants and actual operation condition of the store.

36. Members agree and consent to Taste Gourmet Group and its restaurants and any of its affiliate companies collecting, using, processing, transfer and disclosing the Personal Data in accordance with these Terms and as further described in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is available via the links on the App, and shall form a part of these Terms.  

37. Members agree to indemnify, defend, hold harmless the App, Taste Gourmet Group and its restaurants, its directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents, and affiliates, from any and all third party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including but not limited to, legal fees) arising from the use of the App or breach of these Terms.  

38. Taste Gourmet Group may amend these Terms at any time in its sole discretion. The amended Terms shall be effective immediately upon posting and members agree to the new Terms by continued use of the App. 

39. If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms of Use, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any provision in these Terms of Use shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such provision or any other provision.

40. Taste Gourmet Group and its restaurants reserve the right and revision on above terms without prior notice. Taste Gourmet Group reserve the right of final decision in any dispute.
